Vote as if your life depends upon it!

Whew, finally here. Election day!

Such pressure this year. Well such suffering. Of course we hope that this election will turn around some of the political mishaps.

I am always glad when election day happens, when commercials which slam different politicians with many many lies will finally be over.

Are these people going to be able to work together when they end up sitting across the aisle from each other in Congress? Sure hope so.

Yes the head of her broom has broken off in all the moves. These little "composite" witch figures were a dollar each at the dollar store back in the 1990s. I chose them for decorating.

First rain on Halloween happened before dawn, leaving wonderful mist rising from the slopes.

My daughter-in-law in Ohio has been very active encouraging voting and now stumping for Amy Acton for governor. She was pleased to meet the candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Ohio, David Pepper! "Esteemed author of Autocracies of Democracy and former chairman of the Ohio Democratic Party."

I honestly admit I'm a bit miffed by all the efforts to get out the vote. I've been inundated by text messages from well meaning folks. I punch in STOP for all of them. After all, I voted weeks ago. They're wasting their time, and mine!

I won't be staying up late to find out the election results either. It will all become clear the next day, or the next...

Fingers are crossed, and toes.
