The huge old trees are interspersed with newer ones.

Barbara, thanks for this Durango tour, these are lovely home and what a beautiful church!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting the "treasures!"
DeleteIt’s a very attractive and appealing area.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to eventually have walks along the boulevard...oh, did I tell you it has a wonderful island in the middle with big old trees!
DeleteThere's obviously some very nice old architecture in Durango. These are great photos!
ReplyDeleteThe owners of the mines must have needed a nice place to live, and in between the fine old homes (brick/stone) are smaller frame ones...kind of reminds me of Asheville. Now there are tourists perched on the heights...reminds me also of the mountains around Black Mountain.
DeleteIt looks a pleasant area with some lovely homes. I like those wrap-around porches in the last two pictures.
ReplyDeleteMe too! That’s the same house.
DeleteLooks like you live in a nice area, love the old houses, have a nice week.
ReplyDeleteThe street -East 3rd Avenue - is one of the nicest.
DeleteA brick house with a porch. Yep, my favorite.
ReplyDeleteCan't lose with that combination.
DeleteInteresting architecture. And I love the big trees!
ReplyDeleteThere are some lovely homes and trees too!
DeleteSome beautiful houses and huge trees in the neighborhood.
