DeleteThat is a pile of Saturday memories on Friday. What I didn’t know is that ancestors is make, so we have ancestresses. I have never heard that word. I doubt that I will ever use it, but it is good to be aware of these things.

There is another Barbara in our family, and all the times I say her name, I mean her...so it''s Barbara Baker and her sister, as well as the first shots earlier in the post. It's a great photo isn't it!

And speaking of hats, the old photo of the 3 gals sitting on the grass in their hats. I can't make out what the gal on the left is holding up, but if it were a more recent picture, she could be holding up a phone taking a 'selfie' of the 3 of them. :))
